This educational App is the first one of it’s kind in Poland. It shows the latest in archeological data in the form of an interactive 3D scale model displayed over printed museum materials.
It can be easily downloaded for a variety of devices thanks to qr codes present on leaflets and posters. It was first unveiled during the Night of Museums held on May 2013 at the Muzeum Początków Państwa Polskiego (the Museum of the Origins of the Polish State) and was greeted with great interest by the patrons.

Effects

Construction stages of one of the most important walled towns of the fledgling polish state, multi-layer architectural reconstructions (the cathedral, defensive walls a log hut and a steam bathhouse), locations of the most important dig-sites and descriptions of the artefacts found – all this awaits you in this innovative, interactive scale model of the early mediaeval period fortified town of Gniezno, presented in full 3D and Augmented Reality.

Our App won first place at the Mobile Trends Awards 2013 in the category Mobile App – Education.
